[IP Voice Services] Service Alert 29th June 2016 - Update 2

This is an incident notification regarding IP Voice Services. Date: Wednesday, 29th June 2016 Start time: 16:13 BST (UTC+0100) End time: 16:41 BST (UTC+0100) Services affected: IP Voice Services. Report: Our monitoring systems detected partial loss of service to IP Voice Services including access to the provisioning portals and the loss of some SIP registrations. Our suppliers identified a core network switch failure. As of 16:41, voice services and registrations are returning to normal, however some customers may experience intermittent call routing problems for a short period. Engineering are continuing to investigate with the aim of stabilising all services as soon as possible. Further details will be supplied as they become available. Our suppliers have detected a potential hardware failure in their core network and their engineers are currently investigating the issue to restore service as soon as possible. [IP Voice Services] Maintenance window 1st June 2016

Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled on Wednesday, 1st June to IP Voice Services. Date: Wednesday 1st June 2016 Start time: 0000 BST End time: 0400 BST Purpose: The Engineering team will be performing works to upgrade the Session Border Controller Clusters to the latest patch which contains fixes for a few outstanding issues and also provides improved resilience and stability. These SBC clusters currently serve Hosted customers and 'registering' SIP Trunking customers. Static/Enterprise SIP Trunk Customers will not be affected as part of this Maintenance window. Services Affected: IP Voice Services Impact: Very Low The upgrade will be done on the standby half of the HA Pair followed by failover, and the other half will be upgraded.
