[Comtec House] Maintenance window 15th May 2015

Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled on the electrical supply at Comtec House: Date: Friday, 15th May 2015 Start time: 19:30 BST (UTC+0100) End time: 22:30 BST (UTC+0100) Purpose Scheduled testing of electrical systems. The building black test is carried out on a biannual basis to test the generators' capability in supporting the building electrical infrastructure in the event of a power failure to the building. This test involves interrupting utility power to the building and allowing the generators to take the full building load for a 2 hour period during this window. Impact LOW No impact is expected from this routine testing. UPS systems will take the load during switchover. In the event of any unforeseen problems, UPS systems will take the load while utility power is restored. Services hosted at Comtec House are "at risk" during this window. Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled by Openreach: Date: Sunday, 22nd March 2015 Start time: 22:00 GMT End time: 06:00 GMT Purpose: Openreach have advised us that they will be performing cable diversion on the 21CN circuit servicing our Interxion (CLBIS02) node ahead of future roadworks/building works. This work was originally scheduled for 17th January 2015 and 14th March 2015 and has been postponed. Services affected: Cloud Ethernet (All BT variants) terminating in our Interxion (CLBIS02) node. Impact: HIGH. There will be a interruption to all Cloud Ethernet services single-homed to our Interxion (CLBIS02) node during this window while the circuits are re-routed. Services affected: Cloud Ethernet (All BT variants) terminating in our Interxion (CLBIS02) node. Impact: HIGH. There will be a interruption to all Cloud Ethernet services single-homed to our Interxion (CLBIS02) node of up to 90 minutes during this window . This is an incident notification regarding IP Voice Services. Date: Thursday, 5th March 2015 Start time: 10:58 GMT End time: 11:02 GMT Services affected: IP Voice Services - Device registration for internet-connected devices. Report: At 10:58:31 the engineering team noticed a drop in registrations on our SBC. Registrations automatically began recovering at 10:59:53 and had reached normal levels at 11:02. Less than 10% of users on the platform were potentially affected. The engineering team is actively investigating the root cause in conjunction with our vendor and we will provide updates as information becomes available. The testing is complete for the required work, the delay is because of changes in the monitoring systems needed to be finalised in advance of the migration. Services affected: IP Voice Services. These works will ONLY affect registering SIP Gateways and SIP enabled PBX's using the uk.ic.sipconnect.hipcom.co.uk/sipconnect.hipcom.co.uk (85.119.63.4) proxy. Impact: Due to the nature of the works there will be a short period where affected devices, until they re-register on the new cluster, will be unable to make or receive calls. For standard configurations it is expected that this period will be no longer than 5 minutes.
