[IP Voice Services] Maintenance window 1st September 2017
Posted by Adrian Williams on 23 August 2017 04:40 PM
Please be advised of the following maintenance window scheduled on Friday 1st September 2017 to IP Voice Services.

Date: Friday, 1st September 2017
Start time: 2200 BST
End time: 2359 BST

Purpose:

The Engineering team will be performing works to upgrade the Session Border Controller Clusters to the latest patch which contains fixes for few outstanding issues and also provides improved resilience and stability. These SBC clusters currently serve IP Phones registering over the public internet and 'registering' SIP Trunking customers.

The upgrade will be done on the standby half of the High Availability Pair followed by failover, and the other half will be upgraded.

Services Affected:

IP Voice Services

Impact:

We do not anticipate any issues with active registrations and connected calls as the other half of the SBC cluster will handle the registrations and call attempts.

Our Engineering Team will be closely monitoring all systems and services to ensure any disruption is as brief as possible if experienced.

Comtec is tracking this issue under ticket YZE-268-45109.
