Please do not reply to this email. DESCRIPTION: Pre-release interoperability testing of Apple's?iOS?9 BETA releases has completed. At this stage we have not identified any issues with UC Office and MobileOffice iPhone editions. As a result of our testing a number of issues have been identified with the iPad editions of UC Office and MobileOffice. This alert is intended to provide detailed information in relation to these and actions being taken to mitigate the impact to service. ? ? ? RECOMMENDATIONS: Due to the severity of the?iPad iOS?9 compatibility issues, new versions of UC Office and Mobile Office iPad editions are required to ensure full compatibility.?It is highly recommended that customers refrain from upgrading to?iOS?9 on iPad until the updated iPad apps are released to avoid service issues. ? ? SERVICE IMPACT: UC Office and MobileOffice iPad editions have several issues running on iPad iOS 9 and require updated versions. These are currently being prepared for App Store approval submission, once iOS 9 has been officially released on 16th September.? ? ? WORKAROUND: Delay upgrading to?iOS?9 prior to installing the updated iPad app. ? ? SOLUTION: While these issues could be resolved in the final release of?iOS?9 without code modifications, we do not expect this to occur.? So, understanding Apple's release and posting processes we prefer to alert you to the potential issues prior to?iOS?9 formal availability. Please note below the anticipated release schedule. ? The enhancements that address the issues will be available in the following releases: ? ?????????UC Office iPad R21.x is expected to be approved by Apple and available as an update on the App Store at the end of September / beginning of October. ? ?????????MobileOffice iPad is also expected at the end of September?/ early October? ? The App Store approval process can take longer than usual at this time of year due to the increased volume of application developers submitting updates. ? We send a further informational notice advising when the updated UC Office and MobileOffice applications will be available accordingly. ? Comtec NOC is tracking this issue under ticket: ?LJY-606-25818 For urgent operational issues please always contact noc at comtec.com or 0845 899 1423 and not any named individual.
